Always an Event
So it's true always when Noland is home does something crazy happen. It's just a must. So this happened Thursday night before Christmas. I started at RJ in Saginaw for my friend Scotties birthday, where I met Charlie and Scott for a drink, and by for a drink I mean I drank most of Scott's beer, gave Scottie his gift danced with Ashley for a while and then went to my next spot. So then I end up at Old City Hall, and still think it's ridiculous that they last call at 11:30, what is going on with Bay City?!
Any way we leave Old City Hall and I ride with Noland so he can open his Christmas and birthday present and we pick up his friend Tyler and head to Lucky's. We get there at 1, maybe, I don't really remember times at all I just know that when we got there Jane was bitching about how they wouldn't let her take in the taco bell she had bought into the bar with her, so we sat in the car for a while until Noland was done, then we went in, Noland made a comment about "my trick" and "beautiful face" and about how he was hateful and wrote it on our karaoke slip. that boy, I just don't know some times.
Now its after 2 and everyone is heading home and Noland runs into yet another person he knows, Mikey, who is trashed at this point and trying to find a ride home. So Noland being the generous person he is offers to give him a ride home. So we are driving Mikey back to the house where his car is and where he is planning on staying and it's him, Noland, Tyler and myself, and Mikey makes some comment about being a loser because he is going home alone with out a girl, and Tyler is sweet and brings me into it and is like there's a girl right up there in the front seat, to which Mikey makes some comment about breasts and then proceeds to say, "A girl, watchou workin wit up there" to which I ask why do conversations always end up talking about my boobs?! I mean I know they are big but seriously. Any way he repeats this at least one more time but adding bitch on the end (not rudely) and we arrive at his stop where he proceeds to try and
throw a snowball at Noland's car and misses competely, mess.
Then we went to the Texan, my favorite place of all time.... *pause...Crickets* And I order to much food as always and we have some small talk with the waiter who is gay and not lookin' his best and if his pants or apron were up any higher they would have been a necklace. Then we took Tyler home, Noland dropped me back off at my car and I got home around 5 ish. All in all a good night.
Christmas Eve
So it happens every year we host my mother's side of the families Christmas party. She gets mad her house isn't bigger or that my dad didn't do what he was supposed to do, and her sisters and in-laws are going to judge her for random stuff that they probably wouldn't even care about. But either way she gets worked up and makes the house a nightmare.
Then the party happens and she worries all through it about if people are having a good time and if everything is okay. And then this year we had an added stress factor. My brother being gone. So we were having a pretty good time and my brother called to wish everyone well and to say hi, then my mother got the phone, and went upstairs. I went up later to find her and she's sitting on the couch, talking to my brother and sister-in-law on the phone, and crying. So she's crying, then i start crying and it seems like from then on in if she wasn't' trying to hold back tears, i was. It was a mess!
Then everyone left and we ate some left overs from the party that we didn't have a chance to eat because we were hosting ( and when i say we i mean of course me and mom), the i washed the dishes and cleaned up downstairs while my parent wrapped gifts for our unwrapping on Christmas eve which we do every year. And then we sit around and rotate opening presents.
Tomorrow i plan to sleep in and vedge out in dread of having to be at work at 8 o'clock Monday morning for gift returns. Oh joy how i love Christmas!!

This One's for You!
Okay so it's 4:58 am and I am just sitting down in bed after getting home maybe 15 minutes ago to write a blog about Charlie, who I met for a short time this evening and told I would write about it as soon as i got home. So this is for you Charlie. I don't know you, besides the fact that i see your name on blogs, but it's nice to finally put a face with the name. Hopefully we can hang out before you go back to Chicago.
There is more to come about last night and this morning, but I am tired and have to work 7 hours today then come home and bake, clean, and decorate for a Christmas eve party tomorrow... I'm felling a little like suzy homemaker but again more to come later, I am tired. Good Night
Almost Done

Santa Bears are Coming to Town!
So today was breakfast with the Santa Bears of Marshall Fields in the Lakeshore Grill. We do a breakfast every year for mentally and physically disabled kids where they can get their picture taken with Mr and Mrs Santa bear. This is the first year I got to work it and i had a good time, the only problem was that we had like 5 inches of snow so our turn out wasn't very good. But there were still some kids there and I and two of the other girls (Kelley & April) had the chance to get our picture taken as well.

Ok, so I know it's been a long time since I updated, and I could say it was that I was insanely busy or that my internet was down or something else, but lets just be honest... It was my lazy week(s). I would come home from working an 12 hour shift, or coming home from class all day and put my pjs on, my slippers, curl up with a blanket on my couch and watch TV. Something I haven't done in ages. But it was nice, and the thought of coming up with a clever blog was just exhausting!
So, since I am starting to post again, watch out world, here I come!
